Boost! West Oakland empowers youth, cultivates academic skills and confidence, and advances student learning. Boost! fosters healthy attitudes toward learning and strengthens students’ academic performance and self-esteem through individualized one-on-one tutoring and mentoring, community activities, and enrichment opportunities..

City Slicker Farms

City Slicker Farms empowers West Oakland community members to meet the basic need for healthy food for themselves and their families by creating organic, sustainable, and high-yield urban farms and backyard gardens. These spaces provide healthy, affordable food and improve the environment. We seek to serve all West Oakland residents, prioritizing people who have least access.

ONe tam

One Tam seeks to raise awareness about the need to maintain the long-term health of Mt. Tam, engage more volunteers in caring for its treasured resources, and renew the spirit of philanthropy that has been so fundamental to the preservation of Mt. Tam over the past century.
